Sales Development Manager -South East/ Home Based

Our Wealth manager client had an opening for a Sales Development Manager They are a leading financial wellbeing and retirement specialist helping those in the workplace to improve their financial future.

The successful candidates will be home-based. Whilst there is no specific location required, most work will be South-East based and they must be willing and able to travel as required, including holding a full driving licence.

A snapshot of the role: –

-The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new profitable corporate in financial wellbeing and retirement sectors, selling education programs, digital capabilities, and workplace ISAs.

– They will also have line management responsibilities for two New Business Executives, including coaching, mentoring and performance management.

-Deliver new business sales targets as defined by Head of Client Development.

-Develop and manage the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities to

-Manage the follow up of all financial wellbeing and retirement related new business leads to arrange initial and follow up appointments,

It is essential that candidates: –

-Have with strong experience in a consultant lead sales environment managing new business activity.

-Ideally, from an employment benefit consultant and/or a business development background and used to selling their services, including RFPs, networking, speaking at events, etc.

-Essential is a really good pensions knowledge  

– Should also have proven line management experience, particularly in mentoring junior sales staff.
